Tamina started her PhD in October 2016 at the junior research group. Between 2010 and 2016 Tamina was Senior Research & Consultant at Sinus Markt- und Sozialforschung GmbH, her focus were studies in the field of environmental sociology.
In 2009 she graduated from the University of Potsdam and Free University Berlin with a Master’s degree in sociology and religious studies. In her master thesis „Dealing with climate change in different social milieus“ (german „Milieuspezifischer Umgang mit dem Klimawandel“) she analysed awareness and behaviour regarding climate change in different social segments. During her studies she worked as a tutor at the University of Potsdam and gained experience with the Potsdam Institute for Climate Research (PIK) and co2online.
Her major research interest are: sustainable consumption, environmental consciousness, milieus, qualitative social research
