What do corporations require to successfully initiate and navigate circular business model innovation?
Florian Hofmann and Melanie Jaeger-Erben pursued these questions in the recently published article „Organizational transition management of circular business model innovations“. Drawing on interviews with consultants for sustainable business development and circular economy experts, they propose organizational conditions and management strategies that frustrate the reproduction of linear and unsustainable business models and, thus, enable initial moves towards circular business model innovation.
The study was published in the prestigious international scientific journal “Business strategy and the environment”.
